I was looking for a lighter, more portable, and easy-to-clean option for a whelping box for my springer spaniel (45#). This has worked perfectly. Nice size for my dog and has plenty of room for her and her nine puppies. I kept the shipping box and it will store much easier than its wooden and heavy predecessor!
